2024 reflections and 2025 predictions: Charting a secure future with ExactTrak

2025: Predictions for the future of secure technology

With all the building blocks in place, 2025 will be a year of expansion, innovation, and impact for ExactTrak.
Here are some key trends and areas we are focused on:
Mass adoption of secure endpoint solutions

The need for endpoint security will only increase as cyber threats continue to evolve. Governments and enterprises alike will seek solutions that not only protect data but also offer adaptive, location-specific capabilities – areas where ExactTrak leads the way. We anticipate broader adoption of our technology across government departments and critical infrastructure sectors.

Partnership-driven growth

Our partnerships with Dell, Centerprise, SpearNet, and HPE will mature further, helping us co-develop solutions tailored to the needs of large enterprises and government clients. Collaboration will be at the heart of everything we do, and new strategic partnerships will emerge as part of our 2025 growth journey.

Global expansion

While our focus remains on making UK government customers more secure, we are poised to expand our reach globally. The demand for secure, government-backed technology knows no borders, and we aim to take ExactTrak’s innovative solutions to new international markets.

Ongoing innovation in hardware and software

Technology moves fast, and so do we. Our roadmap for 2025 includes further enhancements in system architecture, data management capabilities, and integration with next-generation technologies such as the super-secure Arm processor.

2024: Building the foundations for security and scale

Last year marked a pivotal chapter in ExactTrak’s journey. With a strategic focus on positioning the business for sustainable growth, we started the year with a significant achievement: a £1 million investment round, led by UKI2S and supported by our existing investors. This investment allowed us to implement critical building blocks to scale our business and sharpen our focus on delivering secure technology solutions.
Strengthening Our team and partnerships

Our vision for growth meant investing in the right people and partnerships:

  • We recruited a testing lead to ensure that every product we deliver meets and exceeds the highest standards of security and performance.
  • Partnering with Halo PR & Marketing, we’ve amplified our communications and shared the ExactTrak story with a broader audience.
  • We welcomed a new Intelligence Community and MOD lead to deepen our expertise in government and defence applications.
  • Our board was strengthened with the addition of an investment lead, bringing a wealth of experience in navigating high-growth phases.
  • Key partnerships with Centerprise, SpearNet, and HPE have further broadened our market reach.
Government trust and accessibility

ExactTrak is now listed on the Crown Commercial Service platform, making our technology easily accessible to UK government customers without the lengthy procurement process. This milestone is particularly important as it removes barriers for agencies that need rapid access to our innovative solutions.

Perhaps most importantly, government-sponsored testing of our products concluded successfully in 2024, confirming that the solutions we provide are ready for wide-scale deployment across government entities.

Technical innovations of 2024

This year was not just about business development; we made significant strides in our technology, enhancing the versatility and scalability of our product offerings:

  • We redesigned our system’s board to use standard componentry, enabling us to produce and deliver at scale.
  • We enabled remote rebooting and added capabilities for system image management based on time and location, increasing operational flexibility for our clients.
  • Our systems now support bulk data transfer and large-scale user enablement, allowing for seamless onboarding of numerous end-users.
  • We introduced an SSD form factor option, which provides future-proofed flexibility and enhances the adaptability of our products.
Industry recognition

We are proud that our innovative work did not go unnoticed this year:

  • Barclays CyberBridge selected ExactTrak as one of three SMEs to present to their corporate sponsors.
  • At Cyber UK, ExactTrak was chosen by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to represent the UK’s leading SMEs in cybersecurity.
  • We were part of a UK trade delegation at the US Special Forces conference, showcasing our solutions on an international stage.
  • The UK government sought us out to develop use cases for the new super-secure Arm processor under the Digital Catapult programme, providing us with additional funding to further our development efforts
